And through Chaos comes Order...

Things have changed a lot in my life.

You been looking for the understatement of the (randomly generated long time)?  There it is.

Of course, there's a lot of other understatements that could be made.  But that's the one which has the most impact in my life.  For an example, I will include some other understatements below:

George Bush is kind of a douche.

The Mayans knew some stuff.

We should maybe seriously think about expansion to Mars.

Batman is cool.

There.  Hope that helps to put some things in context for you.  I'm not skinny, yet, but I've lost damn near fifty pounds, and I feel better than I have in years.  I actually have a shape now that isn't reminiscent of Hormel's most famous product.

I've been exercising lately... well, not as much as I want to, but I have.  Took a few dance classes, worked out a time or two, did some push-ups while Ginger wasn't watching because I'm still a bit self conscious and I didn't want to fail at doing a whole five before she noticed.

The dance classes... ahhh... damn, I don't even know how to go in to it.  I mean, really.  I was bad.  Pure bad.  Ginger says I was alright, but I know how I was, they were my feet that kept clomping around all over the place.  I looked like the dancing equivalent of Rock-Em-Sock-Em Robots  (Dance-Em-Prance-Em?) and I was an embarrassment to anything that ever danced, including ferrets.

Another great change I've made recently is that I've been writing.  Granted, I've been writing less than I should (is there ever a too much?), but I have been making forward motion.  Sci-fi, fantasy, thoughtful stuff and things.  Just writing.  A haiku here or there at work, a few thoughts in my journalybookything, some random crashing of keys into google docs.

Been reading a lot more too, which helps in my writing.  I've got a couple short storys cooking right now that I'm really enjoying.  One a VERY hard SF... one based in a roleplaying world... you know, stuff.

For those of you who are familiar with my Victoria story, I've actually considered writing up a series of shorts about her life from birth through to maybe college level.  Probably be about twelve or so in length.

Anyway, there it is, and here I am, rocking you like a hurricane.

Expect more words out of me.  I always prefer to do my long shit in blog form instead of on The Book of Faces.

I love you all.  Thanks for reading, and to those that truly have, thanks for sticking with me through all the change.

You can never know the place you hold in my heart.

This blog is dedicated to Ginger, my love, my breath, and my reason for smiling.

I'ma kiss her right now.
